Student Membership
We do offer a “Student Membership”. This membership is hosted within the same network as the Professionals with some limitations. Any use or attempted use of this network not for educational purposes will result in the immediate removal from the network. Our professional members will FLAG any content posted by Students as inappropriate. This is a professional network and as a student it is equally important that you present yourself professionally. A future employer may be on this network and your conduct within the network is available for them to view.
A student membership will be granted to students that are actively enrolled and/or engaged in the study of forensic science or criminal justice/law enforcement with the emphasis on forensic science. This membership will have access to the secured areas within the Student Connect network of Forensiclink.org. Students will not have access to write for the forensic blog. In order to do this a piece of written work/research will need to be submitted before approval to write for the blog. We want the Forensic Blog Magazine to be a scholarly resource for students. Employment opportunities will also be posted and made available for students within the network. Our Forensic Professionals will have access to the network. Students are to only engage with the professional(s) for educational related purposes. Professors and Instructors are encouraged to engage with the students on the Student Forums.
*NOTE: MEMBERSHIP FOR STUDENTS IN THE UNITED STATES WILL ONLY BE APPROVED IF YOUR SCHOOL EMAIL IS USED UPON SIGN UP (Example: domain.edu).
**INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS SHOULD USE AN EMAIL ADDRESS SPECIFIC TO THEIR INSTITUTION IF AVAILABLE.
