Officer Daniel Anselment

I want to personally welcome you to ForensicLink.org.  My name is Daniel Anselment and I created this website to connect forensic professionals together from all over the world.

I have been in law enforcement for over 8 years now and I am a former Medicolegal Death Investigator (Coroner) for  MN Regional Medical Examiners Office.  My work in law enforcement has led me to become a crime scene evidence officer within my own agency in Minnesota.

I have learned a great deal about processing crime scenes, but I know there is so much more to learn.  I feel that each of us in the profession can better communicate to bring a commonality to what we do in the field/lab.  Whether it be collecting evidence at the scene or processing the evidence in a lab setting.  Either way we are all in this together and I feel it is time to connect together and fundamentally change the field of forensic science.

I am an active member of the IAI and a member of my the Minnesota State Division of the IAI (MNIAI).  I am also a current board member for the MN IAI.

I encourage each of you to join with me in connecting professionals from around the world and supporting each other in this ever changing and challenging profession!
